A monthly briefing on what the official statistics say about one place, written from the published figures and traceable to them.
Every figure we publish carries a link to a page showing where it came from, what it
was compared against and how to reproduce it. If you followed one of those links and
reached this page instead, the address was probably truncated in transit — the
full form ends in a short identifier, like
/thesis/ths_x1y2z3.
Issues, standing views and workings pages are for the people we send them to, so they ask you to sign in first. There is no password: we email a six-digit code to the address your copy goes to. Sign in.
If a figure here looks wrong, we want to know, and we will say so in the next issue. Write to report@datum.report.
All figures are published by the Office for National Statistics, HM Land Registry, the Department for Education, the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and other producers named on each page, and are used under the Open Government Licence. They are reproduced as published and are not adjusted by us.
